Ron Richman is the founder of InsureAI, creating cutting-edge machine and deep learning tools that are transforming traditional actuarial processes. Prior to launching InsureAI, Ron served as Chief Actuary at Old Mutual Insure, South Africa's second-largest P&C insurance group, where he oversaw all P&C actuarial operations. His distinguished career includes senior leadership roles as Chief Actuary and Chief Risk Officer for AIG's African entities.

A globally recognized thought leader, Ron holds Fellowship with both the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries (IFoA) and the Actuarial Society of South Africa (ASSA), along with practicing certificates in Short Term and Life Insurance. His academic credentials include a Masters of Philosophy in Actuarial Science with distinction from the University of Cape Town and he has finished PhD focused on applying deep learning in actuarial science from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Ron currently chairs both the Actuarial Society of South Africa's Climate Change committee and the International Actuarial Association's ASTIN Board, positioning him at the forefront of actuarial innovation worldwide.

Darren brings strategic technology leadership to InsureAI, specializing in innovative digital solutions that power our platform. His expertise spans Intelligent Document Processing, Robotic Process Automation, cloud-based customer engagement platforms, and advanced data analytics—all critical components of our technology infrastructure.

Before joining InsureAI, Darren drove significant technology transformations at VAT IT and established the Reality Science practice at Business Science Corporation, where he pioneered immersive training technologies and analytics-driven solutions. His technical vision ensures InsureAI's platform delivers unprecedented performance and scalability for our clients.

Darren holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School and degrees in Electrical & Biomedical Engineering from the University of the Witwatersrand, combining business acumen with deep technical knowledge.

Kovlin Perumal leads InsureAI's P&C Pricing division, bringing exceptional expertise in pricing strategies, data science, and analytics within the P&C insurance sector. His innovative approach to pricing helps our clients achieve superior risk selection and portfolio optimization.

With a distinguished career spanning pricing-focused roles at industry leaders including Old Mutual Insure and Absa Group, Kovlin combines practical industry experience with cutting-edge analytical techniques. His deep understanding of both traditional actuarial methods and advanced AI applications makes him instrumental in developing InsureAI's next-generation pricing solutions.

A Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) and University of Cape Town alumnus, Kovlin's technical expertise and industry insights drive continuous innovation in our pricing capabilities.

Rowald Van Der Walt heads InsureAI's P&C Reserving and Capital division, bringing extensive expertise as a qualified Non-Life and Enterprise Risk Management Actuary (FASSA, CERA). He specializes in designing sophisticated reserving and capital solutions that streamline processes and create strategic advantages through advanced programming and data science applications.

His impressive career includes key positions at Old Mutual Insure and Guardrisk, where he led groundbreaking projects in capital modeling, regulatory compliance, and reinsurance structuring with an emphasis on economic modeling. Rowald's comprehensive understanding of SAM, IFRS, and risk management frameworks enables him to help clients navigate complex regulations while optimizing capital efficiency.
